Royce Caswell Sr. - I learned about the Wingard Home when i got out of jail. After spending 1 month in jail my family went homeless. We were in threat of losing our kids while we slept on a living room floor at a friend's house. Their landlord found out and we had to get out. We called every shelter in the state. They all wanted to split up my family and as adults we would have had only 2 weeks of shelter and then move to another. Well, when i called the Wingard Home i felt like God had delivered us from certain doom. The Wingard Home is the only place that would take in my entire family and not split us up. And we could stay as long as needed. Now, this wasnt just a shelter. This was a home. A home with family and friends. All of whom helped us find gainful employment. Helped my wife better her education. Helped us save money and manage it properly. We learned how God had this plan and we didnt need to worry about worldly needs. God provided all that so we could just learn and advance our selves. After 3 months we were finally above water. We had employment. We had a renewed spiritual understanding. We left the Wingard Home and started our journey in a new life. As far as i am concerned the Wingard Home saved my life and saved family's life as a family unit. We are doing great now and since leaving the Wingard Home we have been able to take in people and even families and help them get back on their feet. And we continue to do so now. We have a family of 4 that is expecting their 3rd child. We helped them find services and he now has a job and in a month will be moving out. We do this because that is what God taught us through the Wingard Home. God bless the Wingard family. God bless their ministry and God bless America!!!
