I have been involved with Mitchell Farm (MFER) for 14 years. It has meant a great deal to me, my family, our horses and the community. This place is phenomenally run by a dedicated staff and army of volunteers who work extremely hard to make sure that each and every resident has a wonderful "retirement". They also work very hard to make everyone welcome - volunteers, guests, clients and the professionals who service the farm. In this age of quick fixes and self gratification this farm stands out as a true beacon of caring patience and giving to others. The equine world is very lucky to have MFER. It is truly a wonderful place for equines and humans alike
