IANDS has performed a great service to grieving parents like me by putting on high quality speaking and panel events locally with people who have experienced NDE's or STE's and scientists who study the phenomena. These events provide signifigant support at a time when most of one's community disappears.

The Journal of Near-Death Studies is a terrific resource that publishes the research on NDE's. To have encouragement for and access to peer-reviewed studies is invaluable. The website and the social media are also fantastic resources to spread that information and support.

All of this illustrates how much the programs presented and research published by IANDS benefits the experiencers, the bereaved and the general public.
