Review for Multidisciplinary Association For Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), San Jose, CA, USA
MAPS is a well-run organization. They are making significant progress toward their goal of proving that psychedelic drugs like MDMA can be useful as prescription medicines. I would not give money to an organization if I had doubts about their professionalism. I have given more to MAPS than any other group, and will continue to do so. I have personal experience that psychedelic drugs can be an effective tool for spiritual and psychological growth. It is very important to me that this fact be scientifically validated so that anyone who can benefit from these drugs can have safe access to them without doing so illegally. It will be a long road, but the benefits to humanity make the success of MAPS' mission imperative.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I have followed the progress of MAPS for about 2 years now.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I don't see a need for change at this time.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
they are very realistic in their attitude, and take their mission seriously.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
accomplish quite a few of its goals.
Ways to make it better...
I could attend some of their events, but I live far away, and it has not been possible so far.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
overcoming ignorance and negative stereotypes about psychedelic drugs, and finding funds for ongoing projects.
