We travelled to the highlands of Guatemala with Xela Aid. Though this trip we had a terrific window into the incredible natural beauty, the traditional artisans and the struggles of this unique part of the world. Travel was safe and yet authentic, a difficult balance to achieve for people coming in for a short stay! Made many wonderful friends in the process. If you are interested in modern Mayan culture, and are flexible and interested in service, consider Xela Aid!
