Review for WeSPARK Cancer Support Center, Sherman Oaks, CA, USA
In May 2009 I was diagnosed with colon cancer. For a few weeks I didn't know if I'd be alive today. The wonderful folk at weSPARK heard about my diagnosis through our mutual professional contacts and reached out to me to let me know I was neither alone nor as crazy as I felt. These are true life savers in the fullest meaning of the word: whether you are a survivor yourself or trying to survive the loss of a loved one. If angels have human form, they roost at weSpark.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
They provide at NO CHARGE counseling, support groups, classes in everything from backgammon to drum-beating to yoga: in short, everything it takes to keep (or regain!) your sanity when cancer ravages your life.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the sincerity of the staff. These ladies 'walk the walk' with heart.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
counselors, out reach staff, and sister volunteers.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
reach out to cancer victims and their families across the entire US not just the San Fernando Valley!
