My husband and I adopted our dog Tilly from WARL when she was six months old. She was completely house trained and came with all her shots and was already spade. She had paperwork telling us what her personality was like and her likes and dislikes if any. We got to take her for a walk and sit inside with her for as long as we needed. WARL employees were wonderful and one even came out to hug Tilly (then Oreo) and say goodbye. She told me how Tilly liked to be held up over her shoulder like a baby. It brought me to tears. Our dog had died a month earlier and getting a new one was very emotional. We were told we could bring her back after two weeks no questions asked. That was eight years ago and we can’t imagine our lives without her. Thank you WARL for all your good and tireless work.
