Review for NATHANIEL ADAMCZYK FOUNDATION, Wynnewood, PA, USA
Got involved with NAF after friends lost their previously vibrant 2 year old to complications from Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). Great board with a singular focus--catalyze research that will help predict which children are at risk for developing ARDS so that we can prevent any child from dying from its complications. We've awarded two research grants to distinguished scientists investigating possible genetic links to ARDS. About to launch a major fundraising effort to promote research collaborations aimed at better understanding the risk factors and supporting early and accurate diagnosis.

Our mission has excited influential members of the scientific/research community...now we just have to figure out how to channel that enthusiasm into funding collaborative research targeted at ARDS in children.
