MAPS is the world's leading organization for the study of the positive medical and spiritual uses of a class of chemicals that have largely been demonized by governments and echoed by the press. It has sponsored research that has made breakthroughs in the treatment of PTSD and end-of-life issues. I believe that these chemicals have a lot to teach us about the nature of the mind and our relationship to the universe. I will always support MAPS' research and educational efforts.
