I have been a volunteer here for 13 years. It's the only open admission shelter in the area meaning we take those who have no place else to go for help or a second chance. We give them that chance. Priceless! We have great medical, behavior training, fostering staff and many dedicated staffers and volunteers working to give the best care for the animals and finding them new homes. Also, our community outreach & children's programs are so important for nurturing future animal lovers. We have so many animal loving people giving all they can to ensure a safe & loving future for the 8,000 plus animals we handle every year.
