The Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits truly helped build my agency from the ground up. I became a member early in the development of my agency and have since utilized the very best resources, policies and proceedures, board trainings, nonprofit management trainings, and have also served on the programs committee. The Center has served many of my staff members in supporting roles and they have provided private trainings designed just for our purposes. Every single person at OCFNP has the upmost integrity and a desire to serve our state by providing incredible nonprofits with great longevity.

The Fine Arts Institute of Edmond has served my children for years in art classes,camps, birthday parties and chorus. My children developed such creative minds, and have developed such an incredible sense of individuality and appreciation for those around them. The artist creativity is amazing and the staff is wonderful.

Fostering sweet dreams has a huge impact on families in Oklahoma trying to keep their children withing a kinship placement and help them find permanency faster, simply by provide bedroom furniture. The goal is so simple, but the outcome is deeply complex. So many lives are forever changed by the kindness of this agency. I have been able to place siblings together because a foster family needed one more bed. To the children who were placed together, this was their only hope after being taken from their parents. Thank you FSD for changing lives one bed at a time.

My children grew up acting in musicals produced by Upstage Theatre. Through the amazing directors and producers, my children have learned the art of being who they were meant to be by embracing their talents and creativity in each role, as well as getting over the fear of stage fright. Learning these skills outside of social media is a huge factor in learning to communicate as an adult and developing life skills and decision making, not to mention fun.

John Kirkpatrick left behind a legacy of art and culture for our future through education, city beautification, and cultural arts. There is beauty throughout Oklahoma because of this fund.
