Review for Labrador Rescuers, San Diego, CA, USA
We were looking for a new furry family member and Lab Rescuers came to our rescue! Two of our beloved senior rescued dogs passed away recently within 7 mos. of each other. Our remaining dog, an eleven yr. old rescued Golden Ret., Connor, was despondent and lonely. We set out to find him a new sibling. After filing an app. with Lab Rescuers, we were contacted by Amy, an advocate, to arrange a home visit and to assess our situation for the right match up. Amy suggested that we meet a chocolate nugget named Chandler at his foster home. His foster mom, Susan, and the resident dog, Truman, had been caring for this choc lab x. Connor and Chandler quickly indicated that they wished to be brothers and ultimately we adopted Chandler, now Cruz.
Lab Rescuers rescued Cruz from a crowded shelter, gave him needed medical care and a kind foster home to help him recover from his misadventures as a stray. We are very grateful to L.R. and highly recommend them to future adopters.

Review for Villa Chardonnay Horses With Wings, Julian, CA, USA
I have visited this incredible no kill lifetime sanctuary and met the extraordinary founder,
Monika Kerber. Her compassion and care for all the remarkable creatures that thrive at Villa Chardonnay is evident everywhere you look. This sanctuary is a beautiful refuge for primarily unwanted disabled/senior horses, dogs and cats. Walking around the sanctuary grounds I witnessed tranquil and joyful animals ! Every single creature has a name. I have been back to the sanctuary for visits and I am a monthly donor. Marianne Gallagher
