Our experience with Mission Guatemala was outstanding! Our work related to the ongoing construction of a school building for administration purposes in San Andreas - pouring/mixing concrete mortar and stucco, and applying such to the walls/ceilings. The staff and crew did an excellent job of explaining the purpose of our work and introducing us to those in the community who would eventually benefit from its completion. The construction crew was excellent - informed, safety-aware, and patient with us rookies. We shared lots of laughter with them, which made the experience all that more meaningful - and even concluded the week with a fun soccer match! Dave does an outstanding job of explaining all the initiatives in which MG is involved, and their purposes for each. - James Hinshaw -
