Review for Multidisciplinary Association For Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), San Jose, CA, USA
I learned of the healing powers of psychedelic chemicals from MAPS. It is a part of human civilization that has existed for a very long time in groups of indigenous peoples but has been denied in the West. MAPS is helping to repair the damage caused by overexposure to psychedelics and the government backlash that ensued in the late 1960s. Through support of legitimate research and the spread of information they are re-establishing psychedelics as the medicine they are.
