Review for Multidisciplinary Association For Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), San Jose, CA, USA
The Multidsciplinary Assocation for Psychadelic Studies,or MAPS, is on the forefront of study in what I believe is truly one of the most important fields of study: the myriad uses and effects of psychadelic, mind and heart altering substances on humans. The medicinal uses of substances like psilocibin, MDMDA, Ibogaine, Ayahuasca, LSD and Marijuana have been apparent to many for a long time, yet MAPS is proving the truth of these subjective statements for all of the scientific community to see. Their work with MDMA, for example, treating military veterans with PTSD is quite astounding. The potential for future application of the African root Ibogaine has major potential to fight the deepest forms of addiction-in as little as a day having ingested the root and experienced a variety of personal and spiritual phenomena. In essence, MAPS is doing the rigorous work necessary to prove to a wary public and government that the substances so long ridiculed and in truth lied about since the 1960s, have a huge potential to improve our lives and treat a variety of illnesses, if taken wisely and respectfully.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I can verify the positive effects of their field of study in my own life, and can see how beneficial to everyone these experiences can be, so I fully support their work, though I haven't done a study with them. I've seen some speeches and taken surveys.
