I share a back yard with the horses at HART. I have truly witnessed powerful healing over the years I have been involved with HART both horse and human. I have watched fearful adults transition to competent and loving horse handlers. I have witnessed young children test their own strength and courage, learning powerful life lessons while sharing time with their horses. I have watched young girls fall in love for the first time as they experience the very special bond one can have with a horse.
I fell off a horse and swore I would never ride again. I volunteered happily but never actually interacting with the horses. I now lease a horse that I have connected with in a way I never thought possible and just recently adopted an older GENTLEman that has become a very important member of our family. We are involved with our horses and it is truly a family activity. If you asked me what my life would look like years ago, I would have never thought it would Include horses. I consider myself truly blessed to be neighbors with HART and to have the time and opportunity to love on two wonderful beings from HART. I have volunteered at HART since 2013. They are my neighbors, my best friends, my Heart Community/Family. HART heals Hearts four and two legged varieties.
