I've been involved with donating fabric, sewing machines, quiltlets, diapers, sanitary pads, and more for at least 10 years. The women of Nicaragua have done amazing work with sale of doll clothes, cake decorating and other work to help support their families. Wisconsin Nicaragua Partners of the Americas, Inc. has done a great job supporting them.
