MAPS is a phenomenal organization that supports important scientific research on the therapeutic use of psychedelic drugs. Promising research is being conducted at places like N.Y.U. and Johns Hopkins University. For thousands of years naturally occurring psychedelic compounds have been used for spiritual practices and have provided important visionary insights to the human experience. These substances also show great promise in the treatment of a variety of psychological conditions including the fear and anxiety associated with terminal illnesses.
