The HopeKids Kansas City Chapter is amazing. The presence that they have made in their first year, serving Hope kids and their families is incredible. The company that I work for has hosted a few events, where Hope Kids and their families have come into our office and I can't say enough about the impact that these events have had on me. Seeing a child's eyes light up with excitement, especially when they are dealing with a difficult medical journey is something you never forget. I love that siblings are always a part of the events, too, because including them is so important! I have also had the pleasure of volunteering at a few events, which are always a blast. I look forward to continuing to be involved with this organization!
