Mylestone is an Equine rescue charity Par Excellence! I have been a supporter for decades, visited at least 3 times and am in constant contact with the owners who run the rescue and do have an outstanding total commitment life for these horses they take in plus others. I can't say enough for their dedication and tireless work they do. It's a family endeavor and volunteers are always in demand and needed. If this inspires you please consider donating plus perhaps getting involved in the day-to-day tasks if you live nearby and this is of interest to you. I sponsor several horses and have a particular affection for those who are sight challenged. The Thompson's are truly horse whisperers who love and serve their horses with deep affection and commitment. They are unsurpassed!

I admire the work they do to save unwanted and abused horses, treat them medically, find adoptive homes for them and if that is not possible they provide a loving and peaceful home for them to live out their lives. The family that runs Mylestone is totally dedicated to their mission. They work tirelessly for these horses and especially in the current climate that has seen a decrease in donations and volunteer staff diminished. They continue to work, care and love these animals and deserve all the support of the community and beyond. I salute and endorse them wholeheartedly. Have been a donor for several decades.

I am a long time supporter, both with funds and belief in the mission of Mylestone. Each time I visit or have contact with the owners, the Thompson Family, I come away inspired that the horses they care for are loved and excellently taken care of in health matters and companionship. The owners are truly sensitive and insightful of the needs and sensitivities of their charges and they are eager and willing to help others with horses whose futures seem dim. They do all they can to see that abused horses come to trust again and provide a peaceful and loving place for many to live out their lives in a natural and caring environment. I can't say enough about the tireless dedicated of this rescue and the wonderful family that owns and runs this marvelous entity.
