I really don't know where to start. When I attended the first meeting at the Courage Center I left feeling hopeful. It was the first time in a long time that I felt that way. My daughter had been battling addiction for about 4 years that I knew about....we have been to 7-8 rehabs over the course of this journey, arbitration, DJJ, and even jail time. I had support from Day 1 of attending the Courage Center and to this day I have the support and guidance that I have needed. I have learned so much about this disease and I feel so free being able to open up and talk about addiction. Not only have I learned how to help myself, I am helping my daughter, and the rest of my family. I owe everything in the world to the Courage Center for giving me the Courage and hope that I need to help others.
