I was introduced to Bill Chamberlain in early December, 2008. He had come to our ranch with a friend of mine because he wanted to meet my beloved 100% wolf, Daza. His visit meant so very much, especially since my sweet Daza passed a week later. This genuine man opened a whole new envelope in my life because I had no previous knowledge of his wolf refuge project. Because of my love for Daza and her mate, E-Sup, who had already passed, and my concern for wolves in the wild and also wolves and wolf hybrids who are in bad situations, the existence of such a refuge was a relief. I have been to Bill's refuge over the years and am impressed by his dedication and enthusiasm. The refuge has grown and many improvements have been made in those years. It is an honor to know this gracious man who gives his life to this project.
