One compelling story after another comes to mind in thinking about the amazing people at Shadow Cats. Near the top would be the rescue of Freya, who was caught in a leg trap, which she had dragged, chain attached, under a house, probably to die. We will never forget the image of the caregivers from Shadow Cats on their hands and knees going into the dark and damp crawl space of that house to rescue Freya, free her from the trap and get her the medical care she needed. Freya now lives at Shadow Cats and is one of the thousands of lives saved by these wonderful people.
