I am a newer volunteer to Project Hawai'i and have found that this dynamic life-changing program is very under "staffed". There is so much to do and so many ways to help, but the director is overwhelmed and has a hard time getting people started.
I have seen first hand the children and how this program impacts their lives. I have seen the dedication this wonderful lady has put forward and how hard she works to stay afloat.
It would be wonderful if the community would be more supportive. If they could get the exposure they deserve. While working with this organization I have seen more good and more changing effects than most do in a life-time.
Hoping this message will encourage others to make a difference and volunteer today. Join her team and change the lives of these children.
