Richardson is a small local rescue with a huge heart. I have been a supporter for several years and have visited the rescue to drop off donations on different occasions. I am always impressed by the clean, happy atmosphere they create to house homeless pets. The staff go out of their way to make sure that the residents are not only taken care of, but also know they are safe and loved at last. One recent visit led to my adoption of a senior dog, Toby. Toby is 14, deaf and mostly blind. While other "shelters" may have put him down on the spot, Richardson Rescue had Toby on a cushy bed in the office - the perfect place for him to let me know that I was his new Mom. Fantastic rescue, incredible staff. Thank you Richardson, for making York County a better place.
