I recently spent two weeks volunteering as part of a large group visit to Nepal. I was quite nervous about what i could offer these people however I needn't have been as the organizers made us all feel welcome and valued our input into the lives of those that we met. Accommodation, food and orientation to the local area and culture was perfect. Placements are varied, and well supported. The service that Nepal Orphans Home and Volunteer Nepal provide to the community is fantastic. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone considering volunteer work to contact these people and become part of the growing family.
