I am a college professor who has collaborated with colleagues to develop a course in critical thinking. ProCon.org is a wonderful resource as we teach our students how to analyze arguments, evaluate the extent to which evidence supports a claim, and understand diverse perspectives on issues, even though they may disagree. I have also found it to be a very useful tool for enabling meaningful conversations across the political divide among my circle of friends, relatives, and acquaintances. For instance, my 85-year-old mother, who gets most of her information from Fox News, has become increasingly aware that there are other valid perspectives since I introduced her to ProCon.org. Thank you for providing a service that encourages thoughtful examination of issues and helps us transcend our "bubbles."
