A truly great group I've worked with professionally many times when they bring in dogs and cats for emergency care. They do more to help the sick and injured than they talk about. I have seen them put 4 figure bills on their personal credit cards and then never mention it on their website or social media. The first time I met anyone from K9ResQ two of the ladies waited over 5 hours to have a stray cat seen and then cried for her even though they didn't know her. They put the $500 bill on a personal credit card. They rescue from the heart and aren't in it for praise or glory like most. Last week they brought in a paralyzed dog and got a very high quote on her surgery. The director said that was close to half their annual budget but they had promised the dog they would do everything they could for her and they would find a way to pay her bill. It is inspiring to watch them rescue and help people who love their pets. The director says years ago she promised God she would help the ones he put in her path. She sure does.
