As well as being a board member for FFF, I had the joyful blessing of sponsoring a young student from Guatemala. His name is Michael and he is one in a family of three boys. In addition to being one of our brightest students, the handsome Michael is also musically inclined, and plays his instrument at church on Sundays. He is adored and encouraged by his immediate family as well as our FFF family. Above is a photo of Michael receiving his donated school supplies. Being able for our recipients to afford their school supplies, uniforms, and shoes as well as school fees would not have been possible this year without donations.

In reality, their homes are extremely rudimentary, and they lack basic services. The chances of them overcoming their obstacles and creating a better, more decent life for themselves is marginal at best without our assistance. I encourage you to be a vital part of the solution to empower, transform and help sustain our recipients to a better life. All of your donated money goes to this non-profit, as none of the board members or volunteers are paid.
 

I have served this non-profit since August 2009 and still going. I am amazed at the caring, dedication, and hard work contributed by all of the women and men who run and support this non-profit. Their ability to grow and sustain this non-profit to the success it is today is nothing short of amazing. In our 14+ years of inception, they have addressed the most crucial needs of women and children who otherwise would not thrive on their own — needs such as poverty, health, nutrition, and education. And, they address so much more. Once the critical needs are addressed, further assistance is offered in training these women to help them self-sustain by running a small business. This awesome help allows their children to attend school; some of which have earned higher degrees in such fields as law and nursing. As a result, we have witnessed the miracle of self-sufficiency carried forward to their subsequent generations. FFF welcomes and needs your help. Even if you are unable to donate physically, your monetary donation will offer real and lasting support in a global market. More than just feeding, clothing and housing -- we empower these women and their children to sustain themselves for generations to come. We do this by offering training in business models to help them generate an ongoing income which ultimately leads to their success and the success of their family. In doing so, we help them to break the chains of poverty and give them hope and pride in themselves and their community — our purpose is to Inspire, transform, and sustain. Most impressive is that every board member and volunteer donates their time and energy without pay.
