Review for Washburn Center for Children, Minneapolis, MN, USA
Washburn, their staff and services are extremely professional and flexible. They have worked with our school district providing direct clinical mental health service in all of our school settings. We are a district of over 10,000 students. They collaborate with our schools staff to assist students and families in the area of students mental health needs providing assessment and service in a timely manner, much faster than any "medical referrals". Turn around time for a referral is 10 days -2 weeks. A medical referral can take 6 months. In addition they provide staff development for the school staff in the area of children's mental health and family therapy when needed. The will also coordinate with other county agencies and refer for more extensive service as needed. We have been developing this program with them for several years and can say nothing but good about our partnership.
