Review for Educational Pathways International, Incline Village, NV, USA

Rating: 5 stars

My name is Alhassan Kamilu, a final year Applied Chemistry student of University for Development Studies (UDS), Ghana.
As the 5th student in my native community to gain entry into a tertiary institution, I was fortunate to be awarded a scholarship by Educational Pathways International (EPI). Before luck smiled upon me, my family was in great financial crisis as my younger sister was in her final year in Senior High School and my elder sister also had admission into the Polytechnic at the same year.
Fortunately for me, I became a beneficiary of EPI scholarship in 2015, when I was in the second year. My parents then had to concentrate on my sisters only. As of now, my younger sister is aspiring to become a health assistant and my elder sister is already a national service personnel as she graduated from Tamale Polytechnic last year. Currently, I am in my final year and very focused on my studies owing to EPI's support.
Apart from financial assistance, the seminars organised periodically every trimester for EPI beneficiaries contributed immensely towards attaining my undergraduate education so far. I have learnt a whole lot from these seminars including but not limited to goal setting, time management and career guidance. With these tips, I have always planned every trimester, setting both short and long term goals that I expect to achieve at the end of the trimester.
Also, one of the requirements of EPI scholarship is that beneficiaries maintain a particular grade point average every trimester, this propels me to perform academically well and to work consistently towards completing my first degree within the allotted time with a better grade.I intend graduating with a good grade, presumably, a first class or second class upper and pursuing both my Master’s degree and Doctorate degree. My career goal is to become a Researcher in the field of synthetic chemistry.
Thank you EPI, I am very appreciative of your support and I will strive hard to be able to offer a helping hand to needy students someday.
