Review for Educational Pathways International, Incline Village, NV, USA
Solomon Nakoja is my name, a fourth year Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science (MLSD) student at the University for Development Studies (UDS), Ghana. I am a native of a small village in the northern region of Ghana, Chamba. Coming to a higher level of education comes with expensive bills.
Educational Pathways International (EPI) sponsoring me is a unique and life changing experience, not only for me but also for my parents and siblings. I strongly believe that by empowering me through education, EPI enable me to break the cycle of poverty into which I was born.
Without the help of EPI sponsors, I would have had limited resources and poor focus. For children from more developed societies, education is something that can often be taken for granted, but for many African children like me, it is a lifelong dream. By sponsoring me through my university education, I can make these dreams a reality.
EPI has made my university education very simple and easy, they have provided me with not only financial support for my education but psychological support as well as guidance and counselling. EPI is always available, providing us with supports, training in various fields of life and extra-curricular activities. EPI provides me with parental care; always responding to my calls, listening to my problems and helping me find remedies to them. Sponsoring my education and the provision of care for me provides me a holistic education package.
My goal to serve families who do not have much access to medical assistance. My dream to establish a non-profit organization where I can create internships for medical school student would surely be successful.
EPI scholarship without doubt is one of the best non-profitable organizations sponsoring needy students like me. EPI had help me gain comfort and power over matters concerning education through the provision of financial and emotional supports. Seminars, that are usually organized to provide counselling and guidance has exceptionally been helpful.
Thank you so much for your contribution to my education. EPI has actually given me more than just an education, it has given me a family of people who support me and my dream of becoming a Research Scientist. I cannot thank you enough.

After I graduated from high school, I became certain that if I want to pursue a higher education I need to be persistent and determined to achieve my career aspiration. However, I would not be at this level in my education without the help of Educational Pathways International (EPI) Scholarship. EPI has made my university education very simple and easy, they have provided me with not only financial support for my education but psychological support as well as guidance and counselling.
Moreover, with the scholarship given to me by EPI, my parents have channeled their meagre income to cater for my other siblings and also gained the right to education. EPI has made it possible for the lives of everyone in my family to shift to its right path.
I am grateful to find an opportunity like this that EPI is offering. I am working harder, so that I can continue on my pathway to accomplishing my career goals. I want to give back to my society and my country as a whole. The first health project I want to accomplish throughout my career as a Doctor is to establish a free clinic in my community where affordable medical care and assistance can be provided regardless of the patient’s financial status, the diverse health medication, and nutritional classes to prevent the presence of diabetes or heart diseases.
The second biggest career goal that I want to accomplish is to establish a non-profit organization where I can create internships for medical students around Ghana, and allow them to travel to isolated communities in the country to provide free medical services. I also want to provide nutrition education to support the marginalized communities. This would help contribute to the physical development of children and offer a remedy to malnutrition.
Thank you.
