Review for Educational Pathways International, Incline Village, NV, USA

Rating: 5 stars

My name is Kingsley Emmanuel Bentum a final year student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), offering Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. When I thought all was lost, Educational Pathways International (EPI) came along like a bolt from the blue shining its great light of hope into my academic dream. I was then in my third year – second semester when a friend told me all about it.
All hope seemed lost to me then for I was virtually struggling to pull myself and my younger sister who was then in first year through the academic ladder. It was nothing about academics for I was already a first class student. It was indeed more of a financial constraint on me as a young orphan.
The selection process was very keen and highly competitive. Anyone would expect that from a scholarship scheme which was and still the best on campus. Nevertheless, God in His infinite wisdom saw me through this fair selection process and I was among the selected few for this awesome scholarship.
Being with the EPI family has been one of my most excellent periods on earth for my financial woes were just wiped off in a glimpse. EPI offered me a full scholarship, and this enabled me to support myself and my younger sister to pay her fees as well as provide for some other necessities.
EPI family has not only been about financially assisting students but I can confidently boast of the periodic seminars and meetings organised to groom us into individuals who will be fit for today’s world. Seminars I have enjoyed included those with interesting topics like, How to be a Good Leader, Report Writing, CV Writing, How to sit for an Interview, Goal Setting, Public Speaking among others. These have indeed helped me to be a better person more fit for any task.
One other thing I love about EPI is that, it looks beyond just giving you a scholarship to shape your moral thinking as an individual to make the world a better place. As beneficiaries of this noble Organisation, we are taught to give back to society in the little ways we can .In my opinion, if the world is emulating this manner of life –that we give back to society and not only look to society to give unto us, the challenges of this world’s would be minimised.
Thanks a lot to Mr. and Mrs. Lafrance and the entire EPI team for their selfless commitment for allowing themselves to be used by God to put smiles on the faces of some of us. I will live to be forever grateful to EPI and God.
Thank you.
