Review for Healthfinders Collaborative Inc, Northfield, MN, USA
I volunteer as a clinic nurse at Healthfinders Collaborative. I come home from every clinic feeling so glad the organization is there to provide health care to people who truly need it. The organization itself is well-run and flexible. I feel as if my efforts are appreciated but we are all there to get the job done; there is not a lot of time wasted on unnecessary volunteer appreciation or superfluous training. I've enjoyed meeting new people through the organization and having the opportunity to help out my community.

Patients leaving clinic with a diagnosis and treatment plan, medication or at the very least the knowledge of where to get help.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Make more use of nurses who are well-suited to addressing the needs of this population (diabetes education, well child education, medication compliance etc).

a chance to do what I know how to do and help people.

they knew how to use nurses better instead of being fairly physician-centric.

funding and being able to meet the multitude of patient needs coming to every clinic.
