I volunteered with a community group at Operation School Bell for six years before I became an active member of Assistance League of Las Vegas. The organization is amazing- it is an all volunteer group that dresses 8,000+ children per year! I am inspired by the caring and dedicated members that came before me, and who continue to make the work of Assistance League their lifelong passion.
The children that I have had the privilege to work with are so sweet and are truly appreciative of the help that we are providing to them, but also to their families. I have had numerous children tell me that their parents (or caregiver) will be so excited for them to have the new clothes and school supplies that we provide. These children want to go to school and learn, and I enjoy helping them be successful.
I am honored to be part of this organization!
