Review for Washburn Center for Children, Minneapolis, MN, USA
After working for a few years in the community for another non-profit, I frequently heard stories from coworkers and clients regarding Washburn's stellar reputation. I knew it was a place I wanted to get involved with. Once I had an opportunity to volunteer and later work at Washburn, it far exceeded even my idea of an organization. The way Washburn is run, the way they deliver services, and the devoted, dedicated, and knowledgeable folks who work there truly make it an exemplary place for supporting children and families. If I had a question regarding a case, not only the staff in my specific program, but across all program areas at Washburn were willing to meet to form a plan for the child and family.
