I worked for Reach Out West End from 1970-76 off and on. I think that it's important to know that Paul Smythe was the 1st Dir. of ROWE when it began on Holt Ave near Ont Int Airport circa 1970. He fueled the impetus for the program which evolved into it's current incarnation. After he and his wife Jan left ROWE they moved to Santa Barbara where they began the Klein Bottle which also still exists today as a community support program . I feel privileged for having known the staff and clients at both programs. Thanks- Clark Thornton
