Review for Educational Pathways International, Incline Village, NV, USA
I'm Gloria Akua Annan, a 3rd year student reading a Bachelor of Arts Degree program in English with a minor study in Political Science at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and currently a beneficiary of the Educational Pathways International scholarship.
Educational Pathways International scholarship is outstanding because it is a full scholarship which covers my full academic fees, accommodation, books and feeding.
Having had the privilege to be enrolled on this scholarship, I have been able to pay my fees for the 2017/2018 academic year which had been a debt and would have eventually compelled me to defer my program of study.
Previously, I was lodging with a course mate in her room which was very problematic. However, I have been able to secure a room in the hostel for myself with part of the money I benefited from the Educational Pathways International scholarship . I have gotten a laptop and some reading materials for myself which will help in my academics.
Notwithstanding the above, Educational Pathways International scholarship has changed circumstances in my family positively. I've been able to send a little money home for the upkeep of the family and I no longer depend on my single mother for my daily upkeep hence the money she makes is used to cater for my siblings' educational expenses.
The greatest of these life changing benefits is that with Educational Pathways International scholarship, my aspiration to become a Human Rights Activist will materialise. Acting in the capacity as a Human Rights Activist, I will most importantly advocate for the natural, civil, political, economic and socio-cultural rights of the vulnerable in society.
As an activist, I'll support victims of human rights violations, work to secure accountability and end impunity, offer human rights education and training and finally support better governance and government policies.
Educational Pathways International scholarship has now become the vehicle to transport my dream to reality.
