Animal People Alliance (APA) is a truly special nonprofit as it works to empower local persons in the communities they serve while rescuing and caring for animals in need. Through this extraordinary work and effort, they engage with the locals to help educate and spread awareness of animal rights and how to treat stray cats and dogs amongst others. In every facet of their work, they are touching lives in the most significant ways. I have been lucky enough to witness the evolution of APA over the years and it has been an incredible journey to be part of. From the wonderful network they have made to the animal rescue sanctuaries and care providers that have connected it, it continues to help grow their mission. The expansion to Chiang Rai, Thailand is only just the beginning of the global scale I know APA will reach with time and the support of the international community.
