Review for Save A Forgotten Equine, Redmond, WA, USA
SAFE continues to set the bar for Equine Rescue with fiscal responsibility and financial transparency.
Their work always puts the needs of the individual horse first. One of the hardest aspects of rescue is knowing when the responsible choice is euthanasia. SAFE does not shy away from this difficult choice and is very forthcoming with their reasons when it becomes necessary.
Their training program is top notch, for both the riding AND the non-riding horses. All horses are given the opportunity to become good equine citizens before being placed in loving homes.
The Alumni program with lifetime follow-up to ensure the horse is forever safe is another aspect that sets SAFE apart from other equine rescues. They keep their commitments to those horses who are fortunate enough to find a soft landing spot at SAFE after whatever trauma they have been subjected to.
I continue to support SAFE as a donor and encourage others to support their important work.
Review for Save A Forgotten Equine, Redmond, WA, USA
I've been a volunteer, a donor, a Board member and a huge fan of SAFE for the past 8 years. I have the utmost respect for the quality of care, the training, and the careful rehoming they provide to the horses in their program. The staff are dedicated and knowledgeable. The Volunteers are hard working and compassionate, giving their time and their hearts to the horses in their care. If you are looking to adopt, volunteer, or donate...SAFE sets the bar for Responsible Rescue. Check them out!
