My Nonprofit Reviews

Four years ago this week, I started volunteering at SAFE. Though my role has changed over those years, my respect and appreciation for what they do has not. I've watched the dedication of each person working towards a common goal of making life better for each horse rescued. This includes those who do the chore shifts, the maintenance crew, the fostering families, the riders and trainers, those who monitor their health, those who work to bring in donations and the ones who fill in the gaps and make it all run relatively smoothly. All but a small handful of these folks are volunteers and it is their love and appreciation for the horses and SAFE that keeps them there. I'm proud be even a tiny part of this organization!
