I volunteered at EDRC for a school project and Janice Bremis is such an amazing consultant; she took the time, as well as the patience, to teach me what she does at the Eating Disorder Resource Center (EDRC), to give me tasks to help me develop a deeper understanding of what eating disorders are, and to share stories from others and their battle with this mental illness. Working with Janice and the EDRC staff members gave me a clearer picture of what eating disorders are. I always looked forward to coming into EDRC and helping out with office work. I am grateful to have such a great consultant who is willing to help answer any of my questions and who is working hard to spread awareness of eating disorders.
