Nile Valley Egyptian Foundation is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3), not-for-profit, no-kill and life-enhancing cat rescue group located in the United States of America. The purpose (NVEcats) is to physically rescue, assist non-government organizations (NGOs), and, through education, advocate for the endangered native Egyptian Mau, as well as for the Nile Valley Egyptian Cats. We support and work with these NGOs who rescue and place thousands of abandoned, abused, and stray cats and kittens in shelters in Cairo, Egypt, and surrounding areas.
