Review for Breast Cancer Options Inc, Kingston, NY, USA
I was diagnosed in December of 2008. Hope Nemiroff of Breast Canceer Options (BCO)started a breast cancer support group at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Cornwall Campus that meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. She even spoke at one of the meetings. Breast Cancer Options always e-mails me newsletters with up-to-date information pertaining to cancer. They also had a Complimentary Medicine day at SUNY New Paltz. They invited all types of alternative medical providers such as nutritionists, accupuncturists, holistic doctors, etc. All day long you were able to listen to lectures about many different topics and if you were like me, you went to several workshops during the same time slot - trying to maximize your information gathering. Hope and other survivors were there to tell their stories, give encouragement, and answer questions. I can't wait till next year to go to the next one!! This organization is very helpful and very accessible. They are "neighbors" not a national organization that can seem distant. I love them!!!!

The monthly support group, the monthly newsletter, the yearly alternative health conference and talks with Hope Nemiroff. They've always answered my questions and provided me with LOTS of information :)
