Review for Arabian Rescue Mission Inc, Leitchfeild, KY, USA
The Arabian Rescue Mission (ARM) is so effective and helpful in many ways....giving horses a second (or more than second) chance at life and providing many of us with amazing horses. My Arabian gelding, Sammy, is from the ARM. I searched for ten months for an Arabian trail riding horse and one morning a Facebook friend shared the post featuring Sammy. I knew immediately that Sammy was "the one". It all worked out and Sammy is a GEM, a really positive and exciting addition to my "little herd". This was my first involvement with the ARM and I was so pleased. From the application process and meeting Sammy's foster mom and corresponding with Terry Figueroa, the founder of ARM, to actually picking him up and now even afterwards, I have been so happy.... and amazed at the personal care they take to answer questions and stay in touch, if you want to stay in touch, and I do! The ARM is such a "personal" organization, their care of horses both before and after being adopted and new owners is impressive. I am in search of another Arabian trail riding horse since one of my Arabians had to be unexpectedly euthanized just after I got Sammy....Terry has been so supportive and answers all of my questions about other Arabians in their care. I know how busy she is, and her volunteers are, but they treat you so kindly with personal attention on a one-to-one basis. This organization has touched my heart deeply and I will continue to support them. They have changed lives and Sammy and my lives are only one example.
