I have lived in Palm Beach County for a few years. Never in my life have I seen so many abandoned and feral cats. Adopt a Cat is an ALL-volunteer, NO-KILL shelter...a life-saver for scads of sweet kitties.
The Adopt a Cat volunteers are incredibly dedicated. It is no small feat to house, feed and care for any cat that finds its way to their wide open doors, even the unadoptable ones.
I've helped a bit cleaning the shelter and spent time shopping at their thrift store.
Given the great feline numbers in need, funding is a constant stress on everyone. If you care for cats, this is a purrfect place to put your donations. Time, money, cat food, as well as, saleable goods for Adopt a Cat's thrift shop are needed and most welcome.
