My son has been a member of the clubhouse about a year after his accident and he still attends. The clubhouse provides him a fulfilling component of interaction, learning, and meaning to his life (and mine) that cannot be measured with words. He was a striving college student full of life who could not return to that environment (or a regular work one) because of his severe challenges. The clubhouse provides him a place that gives meaning to his life, while also challenging him to do more.
