Review for Labrador Rescuers, San Diego, CA, USA
We rescued our beloved Lab, Kona in 2004 and we lost him to cancer in 2013. We decided this year to rescue another Lab but had difficulty working with Lab rescue organizations due to our location in Rancho Mirage in Riverside County. We had all but given up when we attended Woofstock an adoption event in Rancho Mirage and met Donna Beane with Lab Rescuers San Diego County. Donna agreed to work with us and help us rescue another Lab. I cannot stress how impressed I was with this organization and how passionate they are in rescuing Labrador Retrievers. From the application process, home visit and meeting the foster parent they truly work on matching the right family for each rescue animal. This week we were able to bring home "Bosco" our new addition to our family who we truly love. His foster parent, Jeremy did an outstanding job in fostering Bosco who had several medical conditions when he was rescued. Bosco is now fully recovered and anxious to spend the rest of his life in a loving family. I cannot express enough our appreciation to Lab Rescuers San Diego County for working with us to rescue Bosco. They are an excellent rescue organization. Thank You, Gary and Noma Bruton, Rancho Mirage, CA.
