I have been in education 27 years and have never found a group where I have learned so much about what goes on (scientifically) in my community in such a short time! Educators get to network with employees of local industry who are willing to be classroom resources. Everyone is so open and giving, when one meeting ends I anxiously wait for the email to sign up for the next one; I don’t know how I survived without the resources MEEC has blessed us with. The attached photos are from an outing MEEC took us on to the Big Bear Solar Observatory and an Acorn Woodpecker’s cache at the Pali Institite in Running Springs!!
