I have to say that I have had the opposite experience of the two negative reviews. We adopted out little guy a few years ago from Chicago Canine Rescue, and the staff care a lot for the animals coming through their doors. The foster process (we are a foster fail) was very thorough as they want the animals to go to good and proper homes. We have since been to other events held by CCR and the volunteers remember us, and Tito! This is after having been out of the shelter for over a year. Everyone we worked with is volunteering because they care for the cause and the animals. I would highly suggest donating to these guys. Also, they just upgraded their cages this past year as they are constantly striving to make the facility better.
